We were finally able to turn all of the floodlights on at the same time. Colts, U16s and U15s trained from 6pm, followed by the Senior Men and Women at 7pm.

Afterwards, good numbers took to the bar, to be fed a lovely Pasta dish with Chicken and Bacon Fajita Sauce. Thanks Ruth!

With the new Sam Smiths Bitter and Lager going down a treat, and the added bonus of live European rugby on the TVs, all in all it was a really good atmosphere.

We are going to continue trialling Thursday night opening, and now with food until Christmas. If we cover the costs of opening up and making the food, it will continue.

It's £1.50 for the hot food - we're already wondering what will be served up next week! We will try to make sure that vegetarians are also catered for.

Also, we need some helpers to serve the food up and make sure the kitchen is left tidy afterwards, as Ruth can't stay all night.

So come on down; to training, for beer, for food, and just good Novos craic! Anyone able to help out with kitchen duties, please let Graham Ward know (gw31@talktalk.net)
