The Run was the idea of Colin Peacock and a number of other parents whose children were suffering from cancer and since its inception it has raised over £5m which has helped make Newcastle a leading centre for the treatment of cancer in Europe. Each parent was responsible for a part of the run and Colin was given the job of arranging the parking of cars and that is the task that Novos has performed ever since .

It takes only 12/14 persons and each year the same people turn up and have a thoroughly enjoyable time, however unfortunately several members of the team are away this year . The purpose of this email is to ask if you can help , or alternatively ask some of your friends if they can ?We are normally on site at 8am and by 1pm it is all over . If you can help this superb local charity , it will be greatly appreciated.
