The Ladies 1st XV are well established in Championship North, narrowly missing out on 3rd spot, and fulfilling their 4 fixtures in the Championship cup. The 2nd XV, having been established in 2016-17 season, were newly promoted this season in to NC North East 1, and a strong season saw them finishing 3rd behind Bishop Auckland and Derby. Equally tied on points with Derby they got the 2nd spot on points difference.

At training all players have this season shown to be highly motivated and talented individuals keen to develop and improve to become the best they can be. The club caters for a wide level of ability, ranging from players who joined after the Inner Warrior camps we ran, through to players gaining county representation.

We are looking for an assistant coach to join the ladies’ section, to work alongside our existing head coach and 2nd team coach. This is a great opportunity to work alongside a level 3 coach.

The successful coach will be able to show a good understanding of player centered skill development, as well as good technical and tactical knowledge. Coaching qualifications are preferred, or a desire to obtain/work towards coaching qualifications.

Novocastrians as a club has some of the best playing and training facilities in the county with 2 full size floodlit pitches, a half size floodlit pitch as well as the main pitch.
