Fun and Friendly is the name of the game!!!

Hiya,

Please see the arrangements for the festival below.....Can you confirm whether you are able to make by end of Thursday as need to give numbers asap. Many thanks. G

The final plans for the Friendly Festival for u6's - u10's on 2nd Oct are now all in place.

Percy Park will host the u6's - u10's.

The meet time at both venues is from 09:00 hrs. COACHES ONLY

The FIRST fixtures KO at 10:30 hrs. Parents to meet at 1000 hrs.

Traffic and Parking will be chaotic as usual. Please remember that Tynemouth has Parking restrictions on Sunday, but the streets around North Shields are fine.

We don't have the pleasure of BMW this year, so the Club Car Park will be available, although we are prioritising these spaces for Club Coaches - saves you dragging your kit for miles.

If all Lead Coaches can report to the Registration desk, check in and receive your medals in advance, you'll also be given your sausage rolls.

The entry costs for Adults at both venues will be £2.

We anticipate the Event will conclude at around 14:30 hrs.

The bar and kitchen will be open.

There is NO wet weather Plan.

As we run this event on a shoestring, we have no St Johns or Red Cross. Each age grade and each club ought to have their own RFU First Aider or suitably qualified First Aider, beyond that it'll always be 999 for an ambulance.

We are anticipating around 1000 players at Percy Park, plus supporters - so very busy.

The focus on this years Event is our Core Values - Teamwork - Respect - Enjoyment - Discipline - Sportsmanship.

Every Lead Coach Coach from all age grades will be given a voting card to vote for the CLUB you feel hit the Core Value and a Trophy will be awarded at the next County Forum Meeting.

Just to run through the age grades:

u6's - mass training session
u7's - tag rugby - no recorded scores
u8's - tag rugby no recorded score
u9's - Age Grade Laws

all the above age grades will be referee'd by club coaches.

Newcastle Falcons will be sending down Flash along with 11 or 12 players, so plenty of photo opportunities for your players, (and parents)

See you all for the annual madness at Percy Park on 2nd Oct.
