It's 3 years since England's Red Roses lifted the Women's Rugby World Cup. 4 Novocastrians, past and present played a MASSIVE part in this. This year's WRWC starts on 9th August - it takes place in Ireland, and the event finishes with the final on Saturday 26th August, kick-off 7.30pm. If you're not at the game itself, make sure you watch it in a great atmosphere at Novos!

The same day also sees the return of competitive rugby, with our men's 1st XV playing Ashington at home at 3pm in the Northumbrland Senior Plate which we won back in 2016. Come down and support the boys. There will also be a 2nd / 3rd XV friendly against Ashington at home as well. Let's hope we get some proper August weather!

There's loads of other TV sport to watch. Perhaps not for everyone, but NUFC are back in the Premier League, and they are on Sky 5 times before the end of September, if you want to watch them at the club. And, MASSIVELY, Newcastle Falcons play their 'home' game against Saracens in the USA on Saturday 16th September, kicking off at 9.30pm, live on BT Sports.

With more new beers being installed, and prices coming down, I can't think of any reason why you wouldn't want to come to Novos. See you there!
