We are looking for ground maintenance volunteers. The pitches are now officially out of action until NEXT season.

Due to back and neck problems we are looking for volunteer(s) to carry out the strimming of the grass mainly under Pitch 1 rails and around the posts. If anyone has an old, serviceable small pedestrian mower preferably motorised to donate to the club this could be used to cut the grass under the rails leaving mainly the posts to be strimmed around.

Due to holidays and other periods of unavailability help is needed to cut the grass, in particular, for the period from 19 June to 1 July when both Alistair and Richard are away.

We are also looking for back-up for white lining, although with the end of the season approaching rapidly the need will likely be during next season.

If anyone is interested in helping do contact, Bob, on 07970824808, bands.fay@btinternet.com or in person to discuss what you are willing to do. Instruction will be given on the use of any of the machines.

In addition to this, the contractors are now working on all pitches - so please keep off them until next season.

Thank you.
