Over the course of the summer, Novocastrians RFC is replacing its old kitchen with a larger, brand new catering kitchen. Our plan is that instead of willing volunteers doing the food on Saturdays and Sundays, we will have a professional catering service.

We want to provide a more varied and better quality of food for both players and spectators on both days, and for parents on Sunday mornings. Exact timings will vary depending on what fixtures are taking place. However, it is likely that this could be from 10am to 6pm on Saturdays, and 9am to 5pm on Sundays. In addition to this, there may be events or meetings hosted during the week when additional catering might be required.

We haven’t yet decided exactly how the catering will be organised. One option is for an individual / business to enter into an arrangement with the club. This could be to have sole responsibility for the provision of food with an appropriate financial package.
The kitchen is still being installed. However we are looking now to ensure that we are ready for the new season starting in September
