Again, the depth in the club is shown as we go into this pre season game with a lot of unavailability. A great squad has been assembled despite the unavailability of Stacey, Dias, Menzfeld, Dodds, Sorenson, Murphy, Merrett, Littlefair, Sowter, O'Shaughnessy, Fearon and Ward.

There is going to be some real competition in the squad given the amount of first team level players there are at the squad. We will shortly be losing Smith, Wilkes and Duncan to uni studies but our own uni hoardes will be returning shortly. There are going to be some incredible packs put out by Novos in the coming months but we will need to recruit and/or develop some backs to provide competition for those currently in place.

Novos are back in the senior cup for the first time in a while and we hope to be competitive despite being massive underdogs in this game. However, rugby is a game where the best side on the day wins. No reason why that cant be us.
