Returning to the squad are Ollie Dearden, Ian Pratt, Brendan Thomas and Stephen Hughes-Narborough - all promoted from the two's after great feedback from second team coach Gareth Bowden. In addition, Andrew Maxwell, Alex Littlefair, Mark Stewart and Jez Nash return to the squad after unavailability last week.

A strong side has been selected to take on fifth place Horden in a game we have targeted for some time at training. We have spent weeks working on our fitness and developing our play around the park. We will need to take the Horden side head on and play direct - preserving space on the inside to exploit it on the outside later in the game.

There hasn't been an away win in the fixture for a few seasons now. Novos will hope to continue this trend and head into an important March with some momentum.

After this game we have a huge run of games against Stockton, Gateshead, Gosforth and Ponteland prior to our Easter Saturday cup final vs Medicals at Ashington. Better start sorting our diary's out and getting brownie points earned during the week !
