Novocastrians will face Ponteland in the Northumberland Plate Final, after they knocked out Border Park RFC last night.

The fixture ended 25-15 in favour of the home side, in what sounded like a close and hotly contested affair between the two teams.

Despite the delays to the final, Novos will field a strong team as always in preparation for Saturday, with knockout fixture rules allowing us to increase the size of our bench by 3 players to field a 21 man squad.

Novos will welcome this extended squad size with open arms, the depth of the men's squad over the 2023/24 season has been key to the success of all 3 teams and it provides the opportunity for even more talented players to pull on red, white and black for the final game of the season.

Congratulations to the following players who have been selected for the final. Announcements to follow regarding venue and timings so we can ensure our families and friends attend.
