More sad news for our rugby community.....

It's with such a heavy heart and tears in our eyes that we write this.

Sadly after a short illness Northumberland Referees Society, Northumberland Rugby and Novos stalwart Malcolm Jarvie passed away yesterday.

Malcolm was one of kind who always had referee's and rugby's best interests at heart. From him playing, reffing, advising, being on Discipline committee and being President of Northumberland Rugby, Malcolm did everything with a smile, wit and determination.
He not only wanted to help improve referees but also improve the person reffing. His dedication and commitment was second to none.

He will be a massive miss within Northumberland rugby but for us referees that had the pleasure of his company his mantras will live on.
