Novos are working closely with Newcastle City Council again to help clear the wagonway of litter from the Freeman Hospital all the way to the Newton Pub in Benton.

There has been a great turnout in the last two years from all ages and it would be great to see you all down again this year.

Meet 1pm at changing pavilion by central car-park for a communal litter-pick along tram-ways and around Freeman Park. We will return to Novos at 3pm for a Community Barbeque and to watch the First Test of South Africa v England on the big screen.

All litter-picking, gloves and collection equipment will be provided but wear old clothes and bring enthusiasm!
