Firstly can we have absolute confirmation on whether you are coming on Sunday as need to finalise the list. If we could have this by Thursday I would be very grateful. We will be meeting at 1015, coaches can you get there for 0945 please for brief. The rules is go for the 1 pass and 7 tag turnover BUT the referee steps into ensure games are not dominated by 1 or 2 players.

There is limited parking at the club and nearby streets. The overflow area, which I would ask you to recommend to parents is Morrisons Supermarket (Hillheads Road. Whitley Bay, NE25 8HN), which is a 2 minute walk to the club.

Keeping the children safe and having fun are the only aims for the morning. This will be a Silent Sunday event so the only voices that should be heard are the children and the referees.

Could you reiterate to everyone concerned that this is a fun morning – no scores to be written down – no winners or losers from matches declared.

Secondly the awards weekend is the 8th May and will need your nominations for Player's Player, if you could send these to me asap that would be great. The coaches will pick Player of the Season and Most Improved Player and also a nomination and reasons for the Spirit of Rugby Trophy and a Volunteers Shield. Please send these to me over the next week so that we can get the names on the trophies ready for the presentation. We will also need a volunteer from each age group to man the BBQ.
