Another big win for Novos

Another bonus point victory for a Great North Run weakened first team pushed them to 2nd in the table after they ran in 8 tries in accounting for Winlaton.

Dan Bollado opened the scoring within seconds and Novos never really looked back as a good display saw them registering scores at regular intervals which was all too much for the home side.

Jonny Coller (2), Liam Pape and Chris Ward all registered their 1st tries for Novos while James Bass and Dan Bollado added to their own tally for the season. Bollado also added more points with the boot to boost his early charge for top points scorer.

Winlaton had their moments but Novos were able to prevent the getting a bonus point by restricting them to three tries.

Novos will need to continue to be focussed and work hard with Wallsend the visitors to Sutherland Park next week, a fixture that always conjures up a feisty and close encounter.
