Never Give Up Attitude From Novos

Novos got off to a wretched start as they went 17 pts down within the first fifteen mins.

Before the end of the second half Novos showed signs of a fight back as they started to make several line breaks. It was no surprise that Novos got back into the game with a deft grubber from Dan Bollado, swooped on by Michael Reidy. Conversion added by Shaun Stewart. City 7-17.

City were now starting to tire and were making subs left right and centre. All the play now coming from Novos and this time Stewart went in for an unconverted try. City 12-17.

Novos looked like they had squandered things as a couple of breaks were blown by dropped passes.

However, one last push saw us putting pressure on City. This led to a charge down which Jez Nash picked up and dotted down. 17-17.

If only we could have played for another five mins as we were still full of running at the final whistle.
