The Fixtures Are Out!

Novos 1st XV kick off the campaign at home to Darlington, on September 6th, who missed out on a play off place on points difference last season.

Novos then travel away to Consett; the side Novos triumphantly defeated to stay in the league just 6 weeks ago.

In October sees 3 local derbies in a row!

On the 11th, Novos travel away to Medicals. The following week sees Novos take on Morpeth for the first time in league rugby since the two sides both played in North One East in 1994. Infamously Novos were relegated after drawing at home to Morpeth 3-3. Both sides were fighting against relegation in the final game and thought a draw would be enough for both sides to stay up. As both sides left the field, news filtered through of Redcar's unlikely win away to an understrength Blaydon side to seal our fate. Novos have never competed at that level since.

The fun continues with the RINGTONS TEA CUP against Gosforth. It was recently found by outgoing President, Colin Smith, in his pantry! Hopefully Novos can win it back this October.

Our last game of 2014 is at home to Consett, and our first of 2015 is away to last season's trend setters Blyth.

For those loved up, Valentine's Day is free this year (subject to change in love or cancelled games...)

The away game against Gosforth is on the 21st February. Novos end the campaign as it started, against Darlington, on the 18th April.
