Novos struggled manfully having had to patch up the side with several cry offs and for 60 minutes performed with credit before a lack of cohesion gave Blyth 2 tries after half time leaving only a late consolation of a Rory Diggle try to show for a hard working display
Novos will need more commitment from the squad moving forward both in training and on the pitch if they are to challenge this season at the right side of the league.
Positives could be derived from excellent performances from New Scrum Half Jason Mcdermott, New winger Jamie Humble and returning centre Matt Lamb.
