A last minute try from Skipper Jamie Diggle gave Novos a superb win over 2nd placed Medicals to open up a 15 point gap at the top of the league.
Novos recovered from the late loss of three players to the first team to record an impressive win over a spirited Medicals side, the win puts Novos 14 points clear of nearest rivals Gateshead who leapfrogged Medicals by defeating Berwick.
If Novos can continue this form into 2012 it could turn out to be a brilliant season for the seconds!
