In the reverse fixture at Acklam Novos were beaten by the ref, yesterday Novos were beaten by themselves
Late cry offs from the first team, a mass of unavailability and some of our students returning home for a bath all conspired to Novos fielding an unrecognisable XV to that which has stormed to the summit of the River Aln league this season.
Acklam proved to streetwise and smart and ran out comfortable winners in the end
