AS bruising encounters go, it will almost certainly be the same again for Novos
tomorrow.
After their no-holds-barred victory over Medicals in the mud on Saturday, James Forbes’s men confront league rivals Berwick Bears and you can bet no quarter will be given.
The Border side, on their own patch, were beaten by Novos just a few weeks ago - and that win was a hard-fought affair.
Now, just weeks later, they meet again, this time at Sutherland Park,
Novos are very much for focusing on one game at a time as they look to progress in the competition.
Dave Addison returns from bench duty with the firsts last week alongside brother John and skipper James Forbes in the front row. Adny Gardiner returns with Dale Raine in the 2nd row whilst Clive Carlin, Michael Mitten and Sam Hubbert complete the back row.
James Shallcross is at scrum half, Chris Donabie steps in at ten and 2 try hero from last week, Chris Gray is in the centres with Shaun Stewart
The back three see new boys Rory Diggle and Harvey Bateman start with James Bass at full back.
The bench is Brian Keith, Glenn Fife, Andy Croft and Wayne Henaghan
