The 2nds are able to name a strong squad despite several injuries and senior call ups and will go into the game hoping they can make progress in the competition. Medicals are an unknown quantity and are past winners of this competition so will certainly provide a tough test of Novos credentials.

Unusually the squad holds 3 sets of brothers this week (and it was almost four!)

Dave Addison packs down in the front row with brother John and skipper James Forbes, Micheal Williams is in the second row with Glenn Fife (Whose brother Chris starts at stand off) and the back row is Sam Hubbert, a welcome return for openside Clive Carlin and hard running number 8 Jamie Diggle (Whose brother Rory is on the bench!)

James Bass holds his place at scrum half after a super game last week and Chris Fife is in at stand off. Sam Burnside adds experience to a young backline from centre with Paul Roberts outside him in the 13 shirt. The back three is very pacy with Chris Gray, Shaun Stewart and Ben Adcock all keen to get hands on the ball.

The subs are Stew Wilson covering the back row, Rory Diggle, Harvey Bateman and Mike Shackleton all raring to get on from the bench.
