The 3's have been on fire in the new year with wins over Houghton, Sunderland and Ponteland heading into this game. The side have benefited from the club putting out more balanced sides. Lads who would be benching for the 2's have thrived starting for the 3's not caring which Novos shirt they put on.

We are looking forward to seeing the club debuts of James Devenish and Joey Leigh. The two Old Allanians turned up at training this week and have jumped at the chance to put a shirt on this week.

The pack has a great balance of power in the engine room in the form of Ian Wood, Daniel Sweeney and the returning Sean Hamill. Their size is balanced out by the energy and enthusiasm of Alex Cokeley, Jack Ribton and James Bass.

Our balance continues with the experienced Christian Selkirk partnered by the flair of Jack Thompson who will wan to feed the speed in Dan Vicary and Adam Lambert. Both drop down to start for the 3's in a league game rather than bench for the 2's in their friendly.

Also look out for the appearance of exciting centre/wing Will Richardson from the bench.
