All roads pont to a win

The centurians travel to familiar foe Ponteland in an away friendly for the fourth match up between the two sides this season.

The Centurians are hoping to stop the rot after four narrow defeats in the league and cup in the name a strong squad.

The coal face is made up by Mike Hudspeth and Rob Sykes with Lee Histed squeezing in at hooker.

In the engine room aka the row James Bennett lines up with new recruit James Lattimore.

The back row flyers are made up of Ed Bowness and Shaun Du Randt on the flanks, Du Randt fills in from wing in backrow due to shortage of backrows available this week and the back row is completed by skipper Ian Pratt taking up his usual role at number 8.

The half backs are Anth Miller at 9 and Chris Curson returning at 10.

In the Centres Andy Masterson returns along side Ross Billingham who isn’t quite ready to play back row yet.

The rapid back three is made up of David Marshall and Euan Mcgaritty on the wings with Joe Carr making his return at fullback.

Tom Ward, Sam Atkin and Paul Thompson are covering the backs and Paul Nancarrow, Dave Rutherford and Jack Wilkinson are covering the forwards.
