Development XV take the spoils

A Developing XV took on league side Sunderland Flames and despite having a full team plus subs available somehow only took to the field with 12 players!

Sunderland kindly matched numbers for an even contest and as players arrived in dribs and drabs eventually a game of fourteen aside broke out.

Novos started poorly with Sunderland going 10 points ahead thanks to two tries in the left hand corner, But Novos wrestled the game back with tries from Ali Lonie, Elizabeth Severs (2) and Fanny Fouin (2).

Particularly pleasing was the performance of Heidi Munns and Cathy Foster who are new to the game and played their first full games for Novos

The future looks bright with many players putting there hands up for a 1st team call up for West Bridgford next weekend!
