Saturday sees the ladies play their first pre-season game following 6 weeks of solid training to date.

The ladies section welcomes new head coach Ian Moralee and assistant coaches Carlos Correia and George Studd for the 2016/17 season. They are well under way with pre season now and are looking at the forst game of the season this weekend.

Pre-season training has seen numbers as high as 31, a minimum of 18 and 62 different players training, including more than 10 new to Novos (and several new to rugby) and some of the U18 girls now graduating to senior rugby. Three players have attended all 8 training sessions so far; this seasons Captain Caitlin Sedgeworth, Fanny Fouin and Jess Bull.

Saturday sees the ladies travel to Edinburgh to play Royal High Corstorphine. The team consists of some of the new players to the club, as well as senior players.
