The Ladies got back to winning ways with a narrow win on the road at Eccles.
In a dour encounter a well worked forwards try for Rachael Yost looked to have sealed a win until a breakaway from Eccles full back left us 7-5 down.
Step forward Fee Shanks who smacked over a penalty toward the end of the game to nick it at the death.
Novos have played better but a win on the road in this league is never easy... to get a win whilst not playing at our best is the sign of a good side.
We welcome Durham Uni to Druids on Wednesday for a training game and then head to Darlington on 5th October for a 10s competition aimed at our developing players.
League Action resumes on 12th October with Loughbrough visitors to Sutherland Park, a side that have shown their mettle in this league with two thumping wins over Eccles and Birkenhead Park while giving Champions Waterloo a good game on the opening game.
