Novos up to 4th

Despite Novos best efforts, offfers of loaning players and attempts to convince Birkenhead to travel they declined citing injuries to their depleted squad.

Novos are given 5 points and leapfrog next weeks opponents West Park Leeds into 4th place, Birkenhead will now be relegated but as they are winless all season, this was the likely scenario anyway. 5points is of no consolation to Novos who were planning to reward some players with their first starts for the club.

So up to 4th in the league in the most unsatisfactory way, however it does set up for a cracker next week at home to West Park Leeds where a victory would all but cement 4th spot and set up Novos with a shot of finishing as high as third.
