This will be the first home game of the Ladies 25th season at Novos. It appears that the two sides have been traveling between clubs for nearly that long with Waterloo 2s being in the North Division 3 with Novos in the 1993/94 season.

Since Novos entered the Championship North 1 League in 2011/12 Waterloo have won it every year and they have made a positive start so far this season with two wins. However, after an away win against Loughborough and a draw away against West Park Leeds the Novos team are brimming with confidence, hopeful of an upset at home.
