On behalf of the Girls Section, Lewis Gray and Ollie Teasdale would like to thank everyone across the club for their generosity with our fundraising. The initial target of £5000 has been met with £2500 of match funding from Sport England.

The section has been building from the bottom up. Last season we started out with U12s (covers U11 and U12 age groups) and this season we have U12s and U14s (U13s and U14s). Next season we will have U16s also. Fingers crossed we will be feeding some talented players into the ladies' teams in the not-too-distant future!

As we increase the number of teams, we need more coaches and are currently on the lookout for someone to take the lead with the U12s next season, ideally a parent with a girl currently playing in the U10s or U11s. We would also welcome a female coach with current or recent playing experience to inspire the Girls. If anyone is interested contact ollieteasdale@hotmail.com for more info.
