A busy ten days ahead of us as Tuesday brings up our last beach session, Thursday back at the club before we head to Nth Shields on Saturday and Bishop Auckland on Sunday.

Nth Shields 7's on Saturday has become a great opportunity for those forwards training to test themselves with some contact. Nth Shields put on a 7's event which is for forwards only - a fantastic chance for the lads to have a run around without the backs spoiling their afternoon out.

Meet at Novos 1130 for lifts. The squad will be managed by injured first teamer Carl Ferguson.

Then on Sunday we head to Bishop Auckland for the Townsend 10's. The hosts have been promoted into our league so it will be our first opportunity to have a look at them. It will be a great opportunity to learn about the application of the new tackle laws.

We have had some departures this season but a lot of hard work has gone on behind the scenes to ensure a strong start to the season. It has been great to see several ex colts reconnect with the club, several of our graduating colts along at training in addition to several new lads. Exciting times ahead hopefully as we strive to maintain three playing sides.

Not finished there we have a cricket match at Medicals vs Trinity Chambers on Tuesday at 1800. A craic based side has been selected with cricketing ability not taken into consideration. Squad is :
