Nine changes in the first team squad this week as in come some regulars in the form of Jez Hunt, George Bambrick and Darren Kelly in the back row. New signing Owen Hayton returns after missing last week. The second rower will want to do well in his last chance to shine before our opening league game vs Acklam. In the backs, Josh Farley is at ten after illness caused him to miss last week. In addition, club top tryscorer Sam Busby play 13 and is joined at 12 by Brandon Gilbert who impressed on match day one. Finally, Rhys Merlane and Rhys Gibbons return to the squad after being unavailable last week.

In the 2nd XV we are looking forward to seeing Dom Burns and Vuyo Nossa-Yabantu have their first run out of the season. Ross Radford and Harry Nordenfeldt were very good last week but drop down to the 2's to ensure they get valuable game time. They will then come across and bench for the 1's in the second half. Look out for young Ollie Harris having his first run out in the backs this season as are James Snoad-Speck and Ben Hawkins who will come on from the bench.

All in all, two good squads who will look forward to the challenge of playing much higher opponents in league standings. Should be two cracking games as both clubs love to run the ball.
