A great afternoon of mixed touch rugby on Saturday put smiles on faces of all in attendance. Always greet to see all the sections of our club mixing despite current regulations. We grouped the players by ability to ensure everyone would touch the ball and have some competitive rugby. They were then bubbled on their pitch with sanitiser and cleaning equipment nearby.

Whilst it is a different environment at the moment the smiles on the faces made you realise that rugby is a great outlet - get outside, improve your health, socialise with others as well as fulfil your competitive drive.

There were great moments on every pitch - vet Stephen Aldridge calling the shots amid several first team forwards, Ami racing down the wing despite being new to the game, ex colts Jamie Ogilvie running down Brandon Gilbert, Zoe showing her skills with the majority of the first team backs or Catherine Cotterill running hard lines on the middle pitch.

Thanks to Graeme Cooper for registering us for the Pitch Up N Play event - the stash was well received but not by me as it all had an ugly flower on it !

Special shout out to Fran and Pete Twentyman who helped organise the day - Mr and Mrs Rugby !
