Having seen 23 teams take part in 363 matches and scoring 1149 tries, the Falcons Community Foundation Summer of Touch came to an end this week.
Wednesday night's finals saw the Novos 'Jan Man' team take top honours by winning the Cup competition, with Falcons lock Tim Swinson on hand to present the silverware.

Sunday August 1 sees the annual Beach Touch Festival on Tynemouth Longsands, Can Novos make it 2 from 2.

This is a marvellous achievement!

The trophy is now pride of place in the trophy cabinet at the club - the doors of it have not been opened in about 6 years!

Winning Captain Janette Shaw said 'We will be heading along to the beach rugby on Aug 1st (Tynemouth) to see if our winning streak continues there! Its nice to win something!'
