Well done and thank you to the those that turned up at 9am on a Saturday morning to help ensure the pitch was in good enough condition to play rugby on. It shows a true Novos spirit and meant the men’s 1st XV were able to continue their push for promotion with a win against 4th place Horden. This was one of the few games to go ahead in the area, and perhaps one of only two games to take place on grass.
Five league points to the volunteers!
In wider pitch news, they have held up well in the face of the monsoon like start to the year. The 2nd and 3rd pitch are both in decent condition. With a drier few days we hope to be able to return to training on them. The 1st pitch is a bit muddier, but again with a dry day or two, the plan is to get some equipment on it to do some repair work in time for next week.
Thank you to all the sides patience and cooperation over the past few weeks.
