1st team take a well earned rest so its the 2nds travelling to Westoe, 3rds take on Northern and 4ths against Rocklif taking centre stage this weekend

The first team have been given the opportunity to take a well earned rest with no fixture this weekend following on from the exertions of the remarkable 3 match winning 'streak'. Whilst there is a fixture pile up, no teams were available to fill in so the likes of Richie Lamb, Richie Mitchell, Dan Bollado and skipper Ben Merrett are likely to spend the day on the peeve as is customary!

The 2nds will travel to Westoe for a friendly. They currently name a squad of 17 with Rory Clarke Hooking and Paul Jackson and James Forbes propping. Mark Vaudrey and Jon Woolfenden combine in the 2nd row and Jamie Wallace, Paul Henderson and Andy Bennett will form a new look back row. James Shallcross holds his place at scrum half and Si Dickinson continues at stand off. Chris Donabie returns in the centre alongside Chris Gray who moves inside from the wing. James Bass and Jonny Ward offer pace out wide and Matty Bradford is a welcome return from injury at full back. The bench is Dave Addison covering the forwards and Shaun Stewart covering the backs.

The 3rds have a fixture against enemies of old Northern in the league and select a big squad for Novos only home fixture this weekend. Dave Rutherford will return alongside Paul Sanderson and Matt Lamb who will hook. The 2nd row sees Andy Gardiner line up along with 4th team captain Ian Pratt, Stevie Gittins and Glenn Fife are in the back row and storming skipper Alan Ptichford returns to the 3rds back row following last weeks man of the match effort. Thomas Armitage continues at scrum half after being heavily considered for the 2nds and Tommy Wilson (Dwarven version) is at stand off Tommy Wilson (Fatter version) is in the centre along with Stevie Allen and Nick Wregglesworth, Stu Wilson (Young version) and Nicky Ellson are the pacy back three. Mike Cousins, Stu Lee, and Pete Douthwaite make up the bench.

The Centurians are looking to follow up back to back victories when they travel to Rockliffe who lost out last week to the centurians semi final opponents Tynedale in the cup. Will Moses will captain the side as Ian Pratt is in the 3rds and Novos will give some game time to John Addison and new signing Drew Henderson along with another new signing also called Andrew Henderson!

The 2nds are having a team night out and The Paddys will be playing England on telly.
